From Cahir in Ireland, Jennifer is an alumna of the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme, and has appeared at Covent Garden as Elsa, Lohengrin; Leonore, Fidelio; Fiordiligi Così fan tutte, Gretel, Hänsel und Gretel; and Adina, L’elisir d’amore, among others.


Following a series of sensational roles debuts, Jennifer has been propelled to international attention, winning praise for her gleaming, silvery tone, and dramatic characterisation of remarkable immediacy.
This 2025/26 season, Jennifer will sing the title role in Dvořak’s Rusalka at Irish National Opera, and make her debut with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sir Donald Runnicles in Mahler’s Symphony No.2. Future seasons will see her make her return to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin and debut at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, Valencia.
Recent highlights include singing the title role in Strauss’ Arabella at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Elisabeth in Tannhaüser at Grand Théâtre de Genève to great acclaim, making her BBC Proms debut in Delius’ A Mass of Life, Marie in Wozzeck at New National Theatre Tokyo, Leonore Fidelio at Royal Ballet and Opera, Covent Garden, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte at Hamburg State Opera, Jenůfa at English National Opera, Elsa von Brabant Lohengrin at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Elsa von Brabant Lohengrin and Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Previous operatic engagements include Freia Das Rheingold Semperoper Dresden, Marguerite Faust Irish National Opera, Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) Opera North; Ifigenia, (Oreste); Arbate, (Mitridate, re di Ponto) and Ines (Il trovatore) for the Royal Opera House; Lenka (Svadba) for the Aix-en-Provence Festival; Elsa von Brabant (Lohengrin) for Staatsoper Stuttgart and The Vlaamse Oper; Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Agata (Don Bucefalo) for Wexford Festival Opera; First Lady (Die Zauberflote) for Welsh National Opera; Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) for Irish National Opera and Leonore (Leonore 1805) for Wiener Staatsoper.
Other previous engagements include Elisabeth in Phillip Glass’ Les enfants terribles, and as the soprano soloist in a double bill including Gorecki’s Third Symphony with the Royal Ballet; Second Grace/Second Fate in Orpheus at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare’s Globe; the world premiere of 4.48 Psychosis at the Lyric Hammersmith; Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) for Lyric Opera Productions; Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia for Irish Youth Opera; Eurydice in Orpheo ed Eurydice for The Junction Festival in Ireland; High Priestess in Aida for Lyric Opera Productions; and Governess in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw for DIT.
Jennifer also enjoys the recital and concert platforms, and has performed works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Handel, Strauss, Mahler, Rachmaninov, and Debussy, among others.
